EHRENBERG Kommunikation opens office in Stockholm

Monday, 13 February 2017

As we are amidst an expansive phase with many exciting projects, we are happy to announce the opening of a new office in Stockholm, Sweden. We’ve been present in Sweden for many years through our activities in the Öresund region and our own office in Malmö. Given the increasing demand for our cross-border communication services on the part of our new and existing clients, establishing our own office in the Swedish capital is the next natural step for us. The Stockholm office is part of the newly founded Swedish company EHRENBERG Kommunikation AB, which is owned by Magnus Ehrenberg and Allan Sonne Sørensen.

Responsible for the daily business and the development of the office is our new Head of PR Stockholm, Sandra Kastås. Sandra comes from Stockholm-based agency Ullman PR, where she has been co-owner and deputy managing director.

Three quick questions for Magnus Ehrenberg & Sandra Kastås

Why did you choose Stockholm?

Magnus: Lately, the interest for our communication services on the Swedish market has increased significantly. One example is the German national wine organisation Deutsches Weininstitut, where we won the tender for Denmark in 2016 and for Sweden in 2017. Another one is the Swedish Thule Group that sells its products on more than 139 markets globally and whom we also are supporting on their home market now. With the new office in the capital, we want to strengthen our local presence, but also to expand our engagement in Sweden.

What are your plans and expectations regarding the new office?

Sandra: Establishing the Stockholm branch and building up a gainful organisation is an exciting challenge I have gladly accepted and can’t wait to start with. I am convinced of the big potential for EHRENBERG Kommunikation’s cross-border services and consulting experience in Stockholm. With our own office, we can provide an even better service for our clients here, but we also hope to call Swedish companies’ attention to the opportunities that await them on our other core markets.

The Stockholm office is your second location in Sweden – what does the expansion to the capital mean for your commitment in the Öresund region?

Magnus: The Öresund region has been one of our key focus areas from the very outset and many of our clients operate here. Needless to say, it continues to be of the same great importance to us now that we have enlarged our company. From now on, we also hope to support clients from the Stockholm area that are looking for support in the growing Öresund region.
