The communications agency EHRENBERG SØRENSEN Kommunikation and the Danish department of Mercy Ships form a new partnership regarding PR and communication to make even more people and companies aware of the humanitarian organization’s humanitarian aid which involves both free medical care, health benefits, surgeries and medical capacity building in the world’s poorest countries.
“We are very happy about the partnership with Mercy Ships Danmark where we will put increased awareness of Mercy Ships’s brand and the new hospital ship Global Mercy on the agenda. Mercy Ships does a fantastic job which we have supported for many years. The partnership is a perfect match as it gives us the possibility to use our expertise and knowledge of the maritime industry in a way, so we hopefully can get even more people on board with Mercy Ships’s work,” says Allan Sonne Sørensen, Partner and CEO at EHRENBERG SØRENSEN Kommunikation.
EHRENBERG SØRENSEN Kommunikation is a specialized agency with many years’ experience within the maritime industry. Among other things, the partnership between Mercy Ships Danmark and the agency aim to increase the awareness of Mercy Ships and by doing so also help the recruitment of volunteers and attract donors.

With the new Hospital Ship’s upcoming visit in Rotterdam followed by the ship’s first official voyage to Senegal in the beginning of 2022, the partnership contains a lot of exciting possibilities.
Mercy Ships was founded on a dream and a vision of sending hospital ships to the poorest countries in the world. The hospital ships provide free and life changing medical care to people in countries without resources to provide these services. In the long run, Mercy Ships aims to increase the capacity of local resources and medical services in the nations they visit.
Mercy Ships’s new hospital ship Global Mercy, which is the largest civilian hospital ship in the world, set sail for its first voyage in the beginning of 2022, where the hospital ship is sailing to Dakar in Senegal.
