For over a decade, EHRENBERG SØRENSEN Kommunikation has been a proud partner of SalzburgerLand, one of Austria’s most beloved destinations. Through strategic communication, we have helped enhance the region’s appeal and visibility in the Danish and Swedish markets.

From winter sports to summer activities like hiking, cycling, and sustainable outdoor experiences, we have supported SalzburgerLand in becoming a year-round destination. Thanks to our close collaboration, the number of Scandinavian visitors has grown steadily, and the region continues to inspire travelers from across the Nordics with its diversity and charm.

02 | Solution

Activities: 

  • Press Release: We highlighted Snälltåget’s new night train as a sustainable alternative for Danish and Swedish travelers to SalzburgerLand. Through a strategic press release targeted at media in both Sweden and Denmark, we emphasized the comfort of train travel and the destination’s charm.
  • Press Trip: We organized a press trip for four prominent Danish journalists from major media outlets, allowing them to experience SalzburgerLand’s winter activities and culture.
  • Influencer Activation: Eight Danish influencers took part in "THE OUTDOOR TEST," where they experienced activities such as hiking, alp yoga, and river rafting in SalzburgerLand to position the region as a year-round destination.
  • Digital Out of Home Campaign: We launched a DOOH campaign on Denmark’s largest digital network during the winter booking season, providing high visibility and awareness.
  • Brand Kiss x Sport 24: We created the "Brand Kiss with Sport 24" campaign, which included social media competitions, in-store advertising in 96 stores, and newsletters to strengthen SalzburgerLand’s position as a winter destination.

  • Press Release: 58 clippings, Readership: 2,268,466. EAV: 83,163 EUR
  • Press Trip: 22 clippings, Readership: 635,000. EAV: 197,859 EUR
  • Influencer Activation: 2,446,434 impressions
